Thursday’s Nightly Reading:
Tonight’s country is the USA. Tonight, our special guest reader is Ms. Litton, the school counselor. She will be reading We Are Water Protectors by Carole Lindstrom. This is a story that honors Indigenous-led movements across the world and issues an urgent cry to safeguard the Earth’s water.
Nightly Reading: Day 3: Monday, September 15, 2025 Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans Madeline is a story about the smallest and bravest girl living in a Parisian boarding school run by their kind caregiver, Miss Chavel.

Book Swap Help
September 3rd - September 9th
We need help sorting books for the Book Swap! We need at least one person to stop b the school starting Wednesday, September 3rd to sort books by reading level. Volunteer(s) will take books from the foyer into the library to sort them by reading level.
Do you have pep in your step? COme bring the energy before or after school to cheer for our Read-a-thon! During Read-a-thon, we need people standing outside with signs getign everyone pumped for reading! Kids, parents, grandparents, school groups - anyone is welcome! The signs will be provided. All you need to do is show up and show out!!!

Read-a-thon Read-In Help
Friday, September 19th
On the last day of the Read-a-thon our kids will go to the library for a read—in. They will be cozy in their pajamas and gather around a “campfire” and enjoy a 30 minute reading session. We need your help passing out snacks, keeping things tidy, and helping the teachers with their kids
We need help putting stickers on every kid in the school to remind parents about Read-a-thon! Stickers will be placed on kids and backpacks as they make their way down to buses, carline , and Big Thought for dismissal.

Wednesday, 9/10, 3:30pm
Pease come help us decorate the foyer! We want to transform the foyer into an airplane. Kids will walk through the airplane everyday and be transported into a different country!
